Biography
Born in Osaka, Japan, Kozo graduated from Keio University in 1960 and developed his unique style of museum quality silkscreen prints. He now lives and works between the Izu Peninsula (Japan) and the Dordogne or Paris (France). His works frequently draw on themes from nature, incorporating subtle abstractions of landscapes, plants, and water. Through the careful use of muted tones and delicate line work, Inoue’s prints create a sense of harmony and balance, inviting the viewer to experience the stillness within his compositions.

His works have been acquired and displayed at institutions around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art, Paris, Royal Library of Belgium, the Modern Museum of Art, Osaka, and the Spencer Museum of Art, Kansas.
