Biography
Robert Barnes studied painting and printmaking at Hull College of Art and London University. He later taught printing, etching, linocuts, and screenprinting at Keswick Hall College in Norfolk. Barnes eventually moved to Norwich, where he continued to teach at the University of East Anglia until 2006. His work is heavily inspired by the East Anglian countryside and coastlines, often capturing the region's sweeping landscapes and vast skies.
