Biography
Born in Cumberland, Susan Jameson studied at the Carlisle College of Art, Goldsmiths College of Art, and the Central School of Art. After working as a master printer, an archaeological restorer, printer, and photographer, Jameson now focuses entirely on her art practice. A leader in the art of mezzotint, her work celebrates the Cumbrian countryside with dramatic landscapes and subject matters. Jameson has exhibited internationally with many solo shows and print biennales. Her work is held in public and private collections globally including the British Council Collection and the Naples Modern Art Gallery.
